Volunteers are needed to help set up and clean up on
Communion Sundays. We need 4 teams of 2 people each
communion Sunday. It’s easy, fun, and doesn’t take a lot
of time or talent. If you are interested, sign up on the
sheet provided on the bulletin board. Our goal is to get
enough people so that each team only volunteers once a
year. Thank you and bless you for serving the Lord
through this ministry in His church.
College & Career will be meeting this evening for dinner
and study at 6:00 PM at the Maier’s.
Please periodically check your church mailbox located in
the library.
The Primetimer ABF will begin a new study in the book of
I Peter today during the 10 AM hour. Jack Brown will be
the class facilitator.
Do you have returnable pop cans/bottles that you are
willing to donate towards Rachel Woolard’s Summer Youth
Mission Project? If so, place them in the gym in the
marked container.
The Thursday morning (9:30 - 11:30 AM) Ladies Bible
Study is now studying the Epistle of Colossians. Come
and revel in His Word as we delve into the riches we
have in Christ - our all in all. Childcare is provided.
The Marquette County Habitat for Humanity ReStores in
Harvey & Skandia are moving to their new location next
to Jack’s IGA in Harvey. Volunteers are needed to pack,
move, sort, and organize the merchandize. If you can
help out, please contact Jane at 228-3578 or by email
Jane@mqthabitat.org

We are still in need of volunteers to sign up to work in
the nursery. This is a great ministry to our young
families and an opportunity to share the love of Jesus
with our littlest ones. Please contact our Director of
Children’s Ministry at 475-4944 or by email at
becky.nelson@charterinternet.com. If you are a grandma
or grandpa and miss your own little ones, this is a
perfect opportunity for you to help others and fill your
need for time with the little ones.
Are you missing your Bible, check out the Lost and Found
table by the outside door near the kitchen. We would
encourage you to put your name inside the front cover so
that we can put forgotten or found Bibles in your
mailboxes.
It is time to start thinking about attending Lake Ellen
summer camp. Our AWANA Clubbers (grades 1 and above)
have been earning camp scholarships to Lake Ellen. Camps
begin on June 22nd and run each week through the month
of July. Please check the bulletin board for
registration information. Please register through Ann in
the church office so that she can be sure to send in
your scholarship money when it is due. The early
registration fee ends on May 1st so don’t delay. The $75
registration fee must accompany the completed
registration form. Please make checks payable to Lake
Ellen Camp. The Father - Son Fishing Trip is planned for
May 23rd - 26th. Check out the brochure on the bulletin
board for specific information.
This year Son World Adventure Park is all about choices.
Come join us as we encourage children to make good
choices that will change their lives forever.
The choices we make in a theme park will determine the
kind of day we’ll have. What Ride to go on, or which
snack or drink to choose. But the big and little choices
we make every day will determine what kind of lives
we’ll have, we will discover who Jesus is and how we
will choose to respond to Him.
I pray you will CHOOSE to make a difference in the life
of a child. Sign up today! Pick a day, a week, an hour.
We will be offering this exciting VBS at 4 Different
